Managed to actually get it offline, I'll put method here for others to follow but feel free to add me anyway, more peeps is always better.
So what you need to get through this is:
Ultimates:
Secret Poison
Gigantic Meteor
Awoken:
Your best Ki transformation (I used Turn golden as I'm Frieza Clan)
Supers:
Maximum Charge
Whatever Else you want
Evasive Skill:
Vanisher Guard
Super Soul:
I'd recommend 'I'm not used to this form' if you can use it for the extra 20% Ki Damage.
At the start of the fight spam Max charge before Broly even appears that should get you up to about 5 Bars.
Transform just after he arrives if you have a Ki Transform if not then keep charging until he engages the bots [Do Not Get Aggro, You Will Die].
Once he's beating on a bot position yourself about 8-10m from him and pop secret poison, this is the real trick to doing this EM. Once he's poisoned his ridiculous super armor will only take effect about 30% of the time. You should notice that even the bots start doing some damage to him as soon as you have injected him.
Then it's a matter of stay at medium-long range but within lock-on and alternate max-charging and spamming the ever-loving sh*t out of gigantic meteor. I was dealing about a bar per cast to him with my build, don't worry about the occasional whiff there may be some luck involved.
The other problem is when he goes to cast his 'Evil Ki Sawblades of Doom' BS on everyone. He will almost always instant vanish away from NPC's before doing this and an aura of blades around him indicates he's about to pop it. When you see the aura hit Vanished Guard IMMEDIATELY and do not move until it's over, bear in mind if you touch the left analogue which using V Guard it will end prematurely and you'll get merked.
After it's over continue as before, all of the bots will probably be dead or close to it after so don't worry about rezing them just try and DPS him down.
With a little luck he should be dead shortly before or after his first blades of evil cast and you'll have a chance at Focus Flash. Which is ca$h money by the way. It's like a harder to connect Big Bang Attack but when it does hit the volley afterwards hits like a truck.

I also brought "Energy zone" for those instances when the damage goes over the super soul's regen. Contrary to belief, if the Ai allies are close to you and further away from the boss, they will actually flock to you to get some Energy zone healing (you could also try it near the boss location to pick most of the Ai but this is not recommended). In fact, if you fly far from the boss, some of the Ai allies will follow you and stop attacking the boss, leaving just the targeted ally and maybe one or two more Ais to fight the boss.
By then it was just a matter of hitting the boss with your strongest ki ultimate moves or if super saiyan, just use teleporting big bang kamehameha. BBK makes a super saiyan teleport from mid or closer distance. You won't teleport with it if you are too far. A much quicker but a bit weaker alternative is Evil explosion.
Peeler storm can be blocked, and blocking it uses less stamina than an evasive. You use your evasive if you miss the window to block it. You can also use super guard and keep your stamina intact.
Keep at it, it took me 7 runs in total to get it to drop.

You can do it solo with a level 85 character with high Ki Blast stats. Just try to poison him right in the beginning (Secret Poison), and spam Gigantic Meteor. You can use Super Guard to block his attacks btw. It took me about 6 runs in total to get the skill. Sometimes the AI dies too fast or Secret Poison just won't hit, but it will work with a bit of luck.
