SSGSS Goku (Kaioken) - Needs Nerf

I had enough of these players, it's so stupid on how I can never beat anyone using this.
I can counter players with their CACs, and every other character... but never this...
It's so stupid! Worst part, the ones who use him always has high BP, and can block like there's no tomorrow.
And once they knock your stamina outta the park, they spam with so many strike attacks, it's ridiculous.
Not to mention on how fast his back-hit is... I can't step vanish quick enough without hearing, "Wide Open!" *gets kicked*
Bandai, for the love of God... nerf this character... and nerf the Meta all together.

Before you give me advice, I know many ways on countering specific types of players... but never this... NEVER THIS!
I remember back in Xenoverse 1 days, when I fought against Spammers, Change the Future was my trump card to counter them with... half of them had to change up their tactics, the other half did what they always do, "Spam", and than get their ass kicked as well as their BP.
I don't understand why I can never even defeat this character... It's completely retarded that I have to write a discussion to explain my thoughts.

-The best way to counter Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken is to stay distant, since it drains his health is free damage.
-Counter moves are effective in this strategy as well, because if they burst dash towards you, it does great damage and might discourage them to burst dash any more, timing is key here.

Please dont request a nerf that wont happen just because you dont know how to work against it.

Haven't used this character yet. But, aside from his HP drain thing, does he also take increased damage like characters on regular Kaioken do? If yes, then with my limited pvp knowledge I could say, concentrate the fight mostly on counters and perfect blocks and only be on the offensive when you are 100% sure you will score a hit. His HP drain will do the rest for you. I'm sure it will not be easy at first so a good way would be to befriend someone who knows how to use the character and have a few sparring matches with him.

also u might want an poison abbility it seems to drain his hp alot faster than normal,
and what everyone said u have to think out an strategy its not a game where u just spam buttons and hope u win its spamming the button and thinking of an strategy.

I can understand both sides. And there are of course lots of viable options to counter SSGSS Goku when you face someone using him, just to be clear.

What I think is the main problem is his sheer perfection in lag. You can't reliably avoid Super God Fist most of the time in lag, just like you can't avoid his quick step vanish into light attacks in lag.

Wasting Z-Vanishes / stamina only to get caught by a backhit even though you've pressed the input for a backwards step vanish twice already doesn't help either, and as the cherry on top he sits on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of health and stamina himself.

He's handsdown the single most broken character in lag, laughing at all cast and CaCs as well.

Many of the recommendations are funny as well... counter moves won't work vs. any half-decent Goku player. Whenever you use a counter move, they'll just Z-vanish your attack with little (stage one, which most players will use anyway) to no (stage 2) stamina cost and have you waste a bar of Ki + gain an opening to attack you, meaning you will have to waste stamina again if they don't fu*k up. After the first time, they'll proceed to bait counters and punish you anyway... oh, and keeping a distance is a lot easier said than done with Goku's (all) presets being basically the only character in the game that can snipe players out of step vanishes.

If all options are over, then we can fight fire with fire and learn SSBK Goku ourselves? Yes. It will be a lame excuse and a boring fight at most, but they will be as poker faced as us when the fight ends.... Of course you could do that. But in a perfect world you shouldn't have to, since no particular fighter should be better than all others under certain circumstances, like lag in this case.

Other than that, SSGSS Goku (like all Goku presets) is easily manageable.

i agree with goku being broken.
its his combos man so annoying >_<
when u see a goku player u can expect 2 things if the guy wants to win:
1. exploting his op bs stam breaks for he can connect a stam break after every hit unlike for exmple sayain cac that can do it after a 4th hit or low kick, the reason goku can stam break so easily is that his stam break is fast real fast.

2. after stam breaking comes the goku combo, i bet everyone knows it becasue it just the best way for dealing lots of dmg and fast so it doesnt matter how much stam u had when he broke your stam.
this combo goes like this:
a couple of punches then the kick that lunches you to the ground 1 ki blast repeat... untill your stam almost return then finished with super k.
you basicly fighting the same guy over and over when you are versus goku cause that what people will do.
the kaioken is just an op bonus.

im not a goku player never gonna touch that op sack of shi t.
i made plenty of strong cac but i have not sank so low to play him.

no ranting or being salty only stating facts ^^

i am strong enough to beat most of the goku players without using cheap tactics
so dont give me that "get gud" thing its just that playing against goku players is both annoying and boring.

Yeah. I agree with you and Sleeser. This is why the true Gouki character was never released to players back in the SF2 days. The gimped, low HP and single air fireball version was op enough to be banned from some tournaments.

Balancing should be a thing in all fighting games. More if they have an online pvp mode. It's obvious but still surprising that such thing as even basic balancing was not done for this game. I'd assume the devs didn't think this kind of game would have players with a competitive mind... Or they are still living their NES days or something...
