Xbox 360 controller for Xenoverse 2
Hello everyone,

I bought Xenoverse 2 today, and a xbox 360 controller (with wire) (Windows 10)

I started the game, and connected the controller, he is blinking but nothing is happening...

i can't change from keyboard to controller in the options...

What do i wrong ? Can someone help me ? Do I need a driver or something ?

Thanks

Does the controller work with other games? Namely ones that use Xinput (usually these are multiplats)

Hello Zirconius, I don't have an other games who could work with the controller, but i read in this "forum" that the controller works with this game, so I think the game isn't the problem...

But I don't know, u think i should try the controller with an other game?

Odd. Should have worked with windows 10 by default. maybe it still need the xbox360 accessories program.

According to the M$ page, this controller should install by default in windows 10, given windows 10 has all it's updates. Try testing around. If not, MAYBE,.. just maybe, you could try the windows 7 version of the accessories program.

Just make sure you download the windows 7 version and make extra sure it's the architecture for your PC (32 bit or 64 bit)

Hello Hanuke, yes, i read this support site already, but there was no pup-up notification that the drivers have been installed, can i check somehow if the drivers are installed ?

Do you think it could work if i download the windows 7 version of the accessories program ?

Thanks meanwhile

The Windows 7 thing a risk, but better than nothing. Make a restore point just in case. Before that though, check on wherever Windows keeps the controller configuration now (they move it each time they make a new OS for no reason other than hate to mortals... it should still be somewhere in the now buried control panel) and see if the controller shows movement there.

Hello Hanuke, i checked in the manager, the driver is installed and at the newest version... the problem is normaly when the controler is working (with the xbox) there is just one light at player 1, 2, 3 or 4 but when i connect the controller with my pc, every light is blinking all the time, something is wrong :/

i think i've the try the Windows 7 thing...

Hmm. Try also connecting it to other USB ports.

I play with an xbox 360 controller using a wireless reciever and it works fine idk its not the game. Good luck finding a solution though i'm clueless as to why it won't work.

Hello Killerpredator, do u think i need a wireless controller + reciever ? Did u ever played with a controller + wire ?

I play with a wired 360 controler with windows 10 (wich worked right away) dunno what the promblem is, on a other game (south park, the stick if truth) it did not work right away, so i reinstaled both(the controler driver and the game) and now its works with south park and xenoverse

(Sorry for bad english)

Mind letting us know exactly how did you reinstall the controller? I don't have those on hand so I cannot replicate it here.

I have a wireless xbox 360 controller and i bought a wireless reciever on amazon for like $10 couple years ago. Maybe you need the reciever to connect.

In the comps configurations theres is a software/programs list from there you can uninstall every program (so becarefull) uninstall the 360 driver and then plug it back in the install it back on the comp
scptoolkit - google, plug your controller then install its driver and you'll be fine x)

So Settings>System>Apps and features. Thanks. Hopefully OP will be able to do something through there.
