Unable to connect to Xenoverse 2 servers
Every time I try to play on a multi lobby online I get the "Unable to connect to the Xenoverse 2 servers" message. And when I try to connect to online PQs or Expert Missions, no servers show up to join. When I host them no one shows up for hours. I have beaten the story 3 times and have had this game since release. WHY WON'T ONLINE WORK?

its just that no one plays online with randoms because of hacking and stuff

Then why can't I join a multi lobby? Remember how I said it was like this since I first got the game?

in your graphic settings try setting distance scaling to ultra and Texture Quality to High it might help.

Every setting is a low as I can make it. Believe me, I have tried everything that I can do on my end. I even tried a new internet provider and still can't connect.

Only that apparently you shouldn't set everything at low this time around. Sure, turning off depth of field and massive particles will help increase your FPS, but setting textures to High instead of Low will remove the super long loading times (I just tested this on my laptop and it worked). Not sure if setting distance scaling to ultra really helps with anything online, but some people claim it does.

no need 2 ask this question anymore dude.. the problem exist from xenoverse first game already.. i keep asking so many time when they going 2 fix the problem and from my experience, they wont fix it.. and why some of the player can play multiplayer? this is because the server only good in some country.. if u say my internet is a problem.. then explain to me why i can play other multiplayer game that i bought from steam? and some of them require high spec pc to play it.. just check my game library if u guys want to comfirm it..

Check ur router if it block the required connection it will not allow u on the multi lobby , this isnt provider dependent
Check portforwarding xenoverse 2

Set everything but the texture quality to the lowest possible, and leave the textures on High. If that doesn't work, try at least joining a game or ♥♥♥♥ to see if it works properly.

Okay, and what ports do you believe need forwarding? I didn't need to do this, but the game may use a NAT traversal technique that isn't supported by Zelath's router but is by mine.

Oh, it's one of those lists. It's a nice try, but I don't believe it's useful. Too many developers don't understand the difference between incoming and outgoing connections, so they just list every single port the game uses in any manner.

Look, they have you forwarding port 80 (HTTP) in for the Xbone version of the game. The game or console is not going to be listening on port 80. A lot of home internet services don't even ALLOW incoming connections on port 80.

The listed ports for the Steam version of the game are, according to Valve's own documentation, outgoing connection ports. Forwarding them won't make a difference. That said, if you do this and it DOES make a difference, let us know.
