2. Unlocked
3. Don't believe so.
2. Have to unlock them to even start a lobby.
3. You actually do have to recreate a lobby to play the NEXT mission. When beating a mission you'll return to the lobby but you can only reattempt the mission. You'll have to leave it and recreate it to advance forward.
You mean I don't actually have to beat any PQs alone then? That's not what Gaudion said. Damn it. Now I don't know what to believe. I hope you're the right one.
And it sucks that they never patched in proper lobby options. Really narrow-sighted and dumb of the devs.
For anyone checking this from the future, here is what I've learned:
You DO unlock the PQs for online co-op multiplayer slowly, by progressing through the story, one at a time. You cannot skip the story and do all the PQs at once, unless your partner has them all unlocked already (if they have already played through the story).
You do not have to complete a PQ offline before you can play it online.
I haven't encountered any expert quests or raids yet, so I can't comment on those yet.
And yeah, you still have to recreate the lobby each time to play the next mission. It's horrible.
Anyone know when expert quests become available? And are they more interesting than the PQs? Because those are repetitive and mundane.
Those are usually the Quest PQ (blue ! on the map). When you launch a multiplayer match with that PQ, you get a warning that only players who have won that PQ at least once (as a blue ! marker) can join.
Since those Quest marker are tied to the Story Progression, it's inevitably makes the PQ locked by story progression without being able to "unlocked" them by joining a friend.
Any "basic" PQ can be played and "won" without unlocking them by joining another player, but if you haven't played the previous PQ of its timeline, it will be kept hidden until you reach it. But it will keep all the progression you have done in it (skills unlocked).
