Merge base color and AO at export?
I'm using Substance painter 2 for source engine. This means my AO needs to be merged into my base color / diffuse. Right now I have to export all my maps, then merge them in photoshop before bringing them into game. Is there a way to have SP2 merge the maps at export time so I don't have to?

You can make fill layer with multiply blend, put it at top and add AO baked texture into it.

Was hoping for something automatic - Thanks for the reply.

Ctrl Shift + E -> Configuration, drag & drop Input maps in the proper channels.

Drimakus, yeah, but AO will be in alpha channel then, not in RGB.

You can put your map into any of the R G B A channels separately
What you mean by merge? Blend layers together?

Yeah, but you need RGB for both base and AO at same time, with exporter if you set RGB for base, you will have only alpha channel for AO, alpha channel is reserved for specular (?) in Source engine.

No way to merge that on export. Possible in Substance Designer. Or just use one project for all meshes, so you dont have to remake fill layer.

Uhh, I got it. I don't think SP2 has such feature by now D: Try to ask Wes McDermott @ Allegorhytmic forums, he is the guy who knows all the things about it.
