What operating system are you on? (Windows version or Linux distro name and ver)
What hardware is your computer running? (CPU, GPU, RAM)
Do you have your graphics drivers installed and ready to go for your card? Do you meet the minimum hardware requirements to run Substance Painter 2?
I initially could not open Substance Painter 2 at first right after purchase. It kept going to a crash reporter immediately.
What I did was update my OS (Ubuntu), shutdown Steam and restart my computer. Logging back into Steam afterwards, I was able to open Substance Painter 2 without issue. That is something you can try in the mean time.
Thank your for your response.
I have a high end MSI GT72s 60e Dominator pro G Laptop. So I guess I match the minimum. https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GT72S-6QE-Dominator-Pro-G.html#hero-overview.
and have used substance painter in the past on this machine. it does open but i cant click anything. i just can move the welcome screen. i have all the lasted drivers installed.
Steam somehow doesn't work well for the Substance Painter, there's related similar threads as yours. Others have tried the roundabout method by downloading from the Allegorithmic site, and applied a standalone key.
I tried this and cleaned all reg files asswel. how would i go about getting this standalone key?

I manage to fix it by deleting Nahimic audio software. Trhis program stops substance from working...
