Exporting for rust.
So I'm fairly new to this amazing peice of software, I'm getting to grips with it fast but the exporting is confusing me. I have lots of ideas for skins and though it's time to put them ideas to the test.
So you may already know that rust is using unity. Rust uses 4 maps (defuse,normal,spec/gloss and ambient occlusion)

Now my issues lie with exporting, in some cases I get errors others times once the skin is uploaded to the I game workshop viewer it's not the same, things just don't seem to match up.

I've been watching a lot of videos on sub painter about exporting, one video which seems to be the only one that explains it has no sound.

Also do I need to bake? Not really sure what that mean yet.

Any help will be much appreciated!!

On export configuration, there's converted maps on bottom right. Add 2 gray outputs and drag glossiness and specular to them. It will convert metal/roughness into spec/gloss on export.

Same for diffuse but RGB map.

Thanks for the reply, so do I select unity 5 and then change the config or make a whole new config?
There's already preset PBR SpecGloss from MetalRough, though it have specular as RGB. I dont know if rust spec is rgb or greyscale. You can use that one.
