I know I personally put in a lot of effort, replaying the plot, sending feedback and so on when it was early access. I love gamefreak and always wanted to support them and their weird side game experiment on PC.
What a massive dissapointment if we don't get it in some form.
asked them on twitter https://twitter.com/RisingStarGames/status/1122850319300476930
Yeah, this just tells me that It's best to just not bother supporting Gamefreak on PC in the near future. It was odd at first as to how they considered PC first, over say Nintendo, but now it seems clear to me that it was just a mere test. To toss out a game that didn't cost too much to make, and didn't have such high standards or marketing going for it either. They use PC for it's cheap cost of entry and make a few bucks, then sell some exclusive content to consoles later, effectively using PC as a free test platform, but with paying customers.
I honestly don't buy any excuse as to why the content couldn't be sold or patched in for the PC version. I've really no reason to support Gamefreak on PC at this point. Screw em.
That sad, the community of the game in Pc is really small and if they keep doing this in the worst of the cases maybe can die.
Hope that this do not repeat because i love the game.
Noooooo... :'(
Why Rising Star do this tho... :'(
Other games even underrated and bad games (by some fans like Harvest Moon Light of Hope) is still patch up... Just why this game not being like that...:'(
I pay full price (no discount) for this game after the game leave from early access moment... because also supporting their non-Pokemon games too... As a Pokémon Lovers.... I... just... why... :'( *shulk*
I Have the exact same feel, i really don`t like what they do but most i don't want this game to we forgotten, at least here.
I have to wacht the last part of the game on youtube since my Pc is of SO 34 bits now, but i still lovet it. :'(
Well... it's okay then... I understand with their condition too. Having 2 big project games simultaneously with different team is hard enough.
I'm still hope.. after they finish their Pokémon Sword & Shield (I'm still picking this Pokemon Sw/Sh on my switch) and TOWN project, they can patch this game again and back attention to PC community regardless the community is small.
They did change the final boss and ending conversations a good bit though and added an epilogue to the ending (something that's easy enough to find on Youtube at least unlike any other new conversations since you just have to skip to the end instead of muck around the middle). Which I thought was nice. I think I prefer the new ending more cause the original one always made me really sad for a certain someone.
EDIT: Looks like they added some logs to the Astras' 2nd-go-around stages too detailing their history more (and in the final stage too for Mahastra Tara). Neat. But moving the logs and extending them to that early in the game ends up revealing plot ahead of the time that makes some later dialogue seem kinda... out of order.
I still hope the game will be updated.. to Alt contents like on the switch, xbox one, and ps4... I hope game freak notice this... :(
even so, I want to say.. Happy birthday for Game Freak. Hope you guys become more successful in the game industry.. thank you for your childhood memories to us.. it's very meaningful.. to us.. love you guys.. and wish you luck. :')))
PC was merely a tiny experimental stepping stone for them, as shown by their core focus on consoles.
