Master Bedroom - Circular Painting Puzzle
Up to the point of the Master Bedroom the majority of the puzzles in the game could be solved by a keen eye, deduction and some lateral thinking. The puzzles could all be solved quicky once you had deduced the solution.

The painting, especially the one in the Master Bedroom are a different kind of puzzle. The solution is immediately apparent, rotate until the image is unbroken. The problem, for me at least, is the tedium involved in doing so. There is no deduction, keen eye or lateral thinking that's going to help me through this puzzle.

While I solved the others fairly quickly when I first encountered the painting in the bedroom I pretty much went 'Nope!' and closed the game because I know the time it's going to take me to sink into it.

It reminds me of mazes in text adventures / interactive fiction. There is nothing for you to deduce, solve or figure out, you simply need to sink a bunch of time into it.

I've enjoyed exploring the house, solving the puzzles, finding the coins and photographs, but this puzzle, spefically the painting in the master bedroom is a real game stopper for me at the moment. Twice I've loaded the game, looked at it and exited the game after spinning the dials a few times.

I don't want to come across as a whiny child, so apologies if it sounds that way, I'm not demanding anything (changes, clues, solutions or otherwise), I just wanted to leave my feedback and thoughts. If you've read this far, thanks. :)

On a side note, and I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement, but an option to simply walk through the house (sans puzzles) and explore freely would be really neat. The visuals are fantastic and I've enoyed exploring the house.

I think you might be overestimating the difficulty of that puzzle. I'd argue it's actually the easiest of the three. Just work your way from one side to the other, solving the outer edges first. It sort of comes together on its own. You don't need to do it in any sort of set order.

Yeah I saw that tip and I did try that, but it just turned into a mess. Perhaps it's just a case of my brain preferring deduction puzzles to logic puzzles.

I'll wait for the Youtube Video on how to solve it.

Ah! Just noticed a full walthrough on Youtube. I'll use it to defeat this puzzle which is thwarting me and continue to play and enjoy the game. :)

The story is good, keen to know what happened / is happening.

Dungeon_Master, could you post a link to the youtube video if it shows the sollution for the painting puzzles? I've seen this walktrough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy4xblOwtZ0&index=5&list=PLdDImNZeyuTXEgDEOUfSDfDIBmDy6xjCO but the painting solution get skipped.

Nope I had the same problem. The Youtube video skips the puzzle. :(

Very annoying and this seems like a realy time sink logic puzzle. I want to get back to exploring the house. =/

Thanks God they added a password to skip this puzzle, this is one of the few so far that almost made me give up the game.

This one I think is a total nightmare, when it looks like you are almost done, a single piece can scramble it all over again, too confusing and vexing.

I just used the cheat code in the art book. I tried solving it for about ten minutes and then got the book and found the cheat code.
