Bugged save game, unable to progress

I bought Eyes of Ara on sale and I love it, I've really been enjoying it. It feels like a mixture of The Room with older Myst-type games. Wonderful.

Unfortunately I've stumbled across a bug which has made my save unplayable and I'm worried if I start a new game it'll happen again. While I was playing around with the circular-turning-plates with gems on them (connected to the ENGAGE button, which releases the triangular door-opening plate) I must have done something which upset the game. Because now I can't un-zoom my view when I zoom in on things.

When I click to examine an object/scene, it's fine. But the game won't let me back out again. I click or right-click all around the borders and it doesn't respond. Eventually, if I vigorously click for a minute or so it eventually backs out. Doesn't appear to be linked to performance, and the game isn't struggling or stuttering. Starting a new game fixes the problem so I think it's something particular with this save.

I'm guessing the problem will be there on any system but I haven't tested it. Here's a link to my save, in case devs wish to investigate: http://pastebin.com/KYqQt1TA

Hi Torgo, sorry to hear you're experiencing a bug with the game. Can I ask where you got that file from? Save files are located here on windows:
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\LocalLow\100 Stones Interactive\The Eyes of Ara

Also, what OS are you running the game on?

You can also scroll with the mouse wheel to back out of puzzles, which may help in the mean time.

Yeah, that file is from the correct directory, it's SaveData01.txt, I just copy-pasted it into pastebin.
I'm running the game on Windows7-64bit.

And I must thank you, I tried scrolling down and that seemed to have fixed the problem! So it appears that the issue only occurs when I try to zoom out by clicking around the border of the window. Very peculiar, but thanks for the solution, now I can continue playing. :) Let me know if you want any more info, though it seems like maybe I'm the only one who has encountered this issue (maybe I did something weird in-game, the save file may have bugged out when I was alt-tabbing out of the game a couple times).

PS: very cool to know this game was made in Australia. I'm Australian too.
