You can also scroll with the mouse wheel to back out of puzzles, which may help in the mean time.

Yeah, that file is from the correct directory, it's SaveData01.txt, I just copy-pasted it into pastebin.
I'm running the game on Windows7-64bit.
And I must thank you, I tried scrolling down and that seemed to have fixed the problem! So it appears that the issue only occurs when I try to zoom out by clicking around the border of the window. Very peculiar, but thanks for the solution, now I can continue playing. :) Let me know if you want any more info, though it seems like maybe I'm the only one who has encountered this issue (maybe I did something weird in-game, the save file may have bugged out when I was alt-tabbing out of the game a couple times).
PS: very cool to know this game was made in Australia. I'm Australian too.
