YOLOL programming
Will I have to be a big brain programmer to use anything in this game?

The game has 3 different YOLOL chips with varying degrees of complexity. If you can understand basic arithmetic and logic you should be fine with the first tier of chips.

YOLOL enables a ship, or devices, to do more. However, it is totally fine to build ships that does not use YOLOL.
Knowing YOLOL is advised, but if you do not know or don't want to learn it, it is totally fine. You can visit the Starbase discord and CYLON community for more information.

You need to understand the device Network, to even set up buttons properly. And that is half the battle of learning YOLOL.

You got the flight computers, to deal with flight operation.
And actuall YOLOL Scripts you can just copy&paste from other players. Not much of it seems mandatory.
