pvp stop me from buying game

i hate space games with pvp .work hard for hrs mining and then someone come by and destroy your ship and steal your cargo in few min.hope you have non pvp server or ways this type community to play this game

Sorry to say this is a pvp game, but as others have pointed out there is a pretty big safe area but will of course limit you to that area if you dont want to pvp..

There are probably other games out there that will be a better option for you.

Safe zone around origin is an oval centered on origin, its 100km between the planet and into the belt, its 1000km wide running along the belt, and 440km tall.

This was updated in patch build 312, I believe this is the final size SB will launch with, while its very big, it will not contain every ore.

If I even saw another player past 50km into the belt (not the stations mind you, just in the belt), let alone a pvp prone player, I would be astounded.

It would be like going deep into the australian outback and being worried about being attacked only by an albino crocodile. Yea there's probably one or two out there somewhere, but man that's a lot of outback to cover for such a rare thing to run into.

You (and a lot of other players who are not in CA) are worried about getting ganked in pvp space, and I feel ya. But you are not worried about the real threat. Having a momentary distraction and smacking your ship into an asteroid in one of the fog patches. Thats the only real danger you are going to run into. If you don't want to run into another player in pvp space then turn off your transponder and avoid marked ships/bases out in the belt. Do that and you aint gonna run into nobody.

Question for ya: Are resources so abundant as to make PvP pointless outside of just baseless aggression? One (amongst many) reasons I hated Sea of Thieves was that there was no incentive to actually pirate other players. You can just get infinite treasure chests from infinitely repeatable missions, PvP was a waste of time outside of doing it just for funsies, but usually most other players were busy doing other stuff and didn't like it.

None of the higher end resources are in safe space. If you want to build weapons or engine enhancement, you are going to have to get out into the thick of it. If you just want to build a simple mining vessle or make basic money, you can stay in safe space.

That sounds like a good compromise. How rare are the higher end resources? Hard enough to find that if you come across another player by chance it might be tempting to attempt to steal their haul?

Some of them are pretty far out there. But its hard to find people out there too. It would be easier to mine the resources than hunt for people out there.

Seems good to me, assuages most of the fears I had that this game might end up like that one game with the grappling hooks and flying boat building mechanics... Ah what was it called... Worlds Adrift I think?

how is the PVP gunplay aspects of the game, is there Fortine roblox TPS peeking exploit, if that is the case then it would suck as gunplay PVP game,

I am only concerned with cheaters and hope this studio takes them seriously unlike all the other pvp games out there. I know you can't prevent them all or anything. But the big hint is how long it takes for them to get banned. Some studio's like Bethesda only gives them a 1 week suspension on their games while others take months and do waves while these companies make more money off cheaters buying new keys which they know this so they never fix the exploit. If this company can't be active against cheating/exploiters then it does not matter how good the game is, it will be bad.

You can get a burger there but with vast amount of varied meat.

lol go play a single player game? Check out Avorion - very under the radar voxel space sandbox.

Also there are safe zones, you can join a faction/corp. But you seem like the type of player to never take a risk so just go play Avorion imo
