CRASH

Hi, am i alone to crash in game ? The game freeze, my steam close down himself and i need to CTRL + SHIFT + DEL for erase the Starbase processus ... 3 times from now.

Edit : It seem you can play the game if you disable the STEAM ORVERLAY, to proceed , go in your Steam, Parameter, In a game , and disable Steam Overlay.

Not sure this is a perfect way to play without the bug but testing it it's no more cost :p

* Steam -> Settings -> In-Game -> Steam Networking, change Default to Never (Multiple reports of helping)

More experimental/advanced:
* Set "High Priority" for the starbase.exe task in Task Manager -> Advanced and find starbase.exe, right-click, and "Set Priority" to High

People have reported less crashes with these settings.

Yup, we've noticed the game is crashing for some players right now (and even some developers who are in-game). We don't know yet what's causing it but we're investigating at the moment. Thanks for your patience and keep the reports coming!

lol buying a game you can't even play ROFL
with the excuse of EA... after months of alpha

Sorry about this issue.

Then on to troubleshooting: Is your pagefile.sys file disabled? For more information, please see https://www.howtogeek.com/126430/htg-explains-what-is-the-windows-page-file-and-should-you-disable-it/

If the issue is with enabling this file, try and see if you can increase the file size, and if that helps. If not, please check that your system specs match the recommended specs on the Steam store page.

looks like no starbase today. no time for crashes. wanted to watch alex jones in 15mins anyway.

And as Aura mentioned, if the above doesn't help, this crash might be a new issue we've only now just become aware of, and we're working on fixing the issue.

Same here as well, I'm guessing they will fix whatever the issue is. We are basically testing the beta version and with the amount of people playing, I'm hoping they will fix it soon.
