My ship is 100% broken and no one on discord will help! need help...

I have a tri fin, it's for no reason missing a computer and yolol cards, it wont repair, its somehow damaged despite being almost new and only going on e1 close mining trip. it's got to the point im about to quit the game over it. i sent all my ressourced and money on this ship and nothing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works. the generator is stuck only making 5.139 power and the rest of it.

Those are like 2-3 days behind. You could redo tutorial for a starter labs in the meantime

Watch some ship design videos on youtube might start to give you an idea on how to fix it..

You're going to have to learn to be self sufficient, as others have suggested go do some research about what parts are crucial to getting a ship operating, that'll give you a better idea of how to fix it.

Also, do yourself a solid and register with a Company. The Starbase discord is well, a mixed bag. A company will give you much more solid info and answers, especially around ship design. If you rely on the Starbase Discord you're going to have a bad time, its just too busy and a lot of the information out there is inaccurate (especially around ship integrity and how beams work).

Here is a few video's to help get you jumpstarted. They've taught me most of what i know, and can now build fully functional and beautiful ships. A quick tip, forget about the build/repair tool. Just craft/buy the components until you know what you're doing.

I can have a look at your trifin, you can find me on Origin 17 at around 18:30 Utc for a while just msg Martok. Might be in the designer though so let me know if you can/want to head over there and at what time (use UTC time pls).

I'll see if i can get over later. as for now i managed to limp my damaged trifin back to base. only took me 5 hours from deep space. One of my mining lasers wont work and its turret rings etc is damaged and i have the materials but when i shoot the repair gun nothing happens same for the yolo card.

Alright, if you can make it tonight I can try to circumvent the damage, but if it is too extensive there wont be much I can do so -> no promises. We will have to fix the ship manually there is no way to use the repair tool on heavy damaged parts or to fix the cables, this means taking off plates/parts and rewiring. Just msg Martok ingame.
I have a tri fin myself we will attempt to use it as blueprint to fix the broken parts.

i have a ship i think its the same one as you the generator doesnt appear to do anything till the battery is almost 50% drained, then it kicks into life. though if you have tried to eidt with easy build or spawned it in there then you should read known issues first.
