Does the online gameplay works?

I've always played on single player, but I would love to play with a friend. He didn't buy the game yet, but we want to make sure we can play online. When I try to join a game with strangers, there is no link available

There's NO support any more for this version of the game, Also if your friend goes to buy they don't sell it on Steam anymore so I'm sure GOG and Fanatical are probably the same. Maybe on old copy on Amazon or Ebay, but why bother.

The thing to do is for both of you to buy the updated (from 2016) version; Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition (updated TQ AND TQ:IT combined). Nordic picked up the game after THQ went belly up. They did alot of bug fixes, added some random bosses and have multi-player support for 'their' game.

There's also 2 new DLC's out for the AE version; Ragnarok which is ACT 5 of the game and Atlantis which is a side quest area off of Rhodes.
