How do you "delete" animals/plants/decomposers?
As the title says. Wondering how I can remove creatures and etc. manually.

Creative Director/Dev here! The only way to delete plants, animals, or decomposers is to either place predators to eat them up, add more species that rely on the same things for food so that they'll compete each other into starvation, or to let detritus build up until it kills everything off. (The latter two won't work with decomposers, however. Insectivores will eat insects, and herbivores will eat mushrooms.)

We discussed including a "delete" function during development, but eventually decided against it. We wanted players to be able to understand the effects that their choices have on an ecosystem, and to fully realize how much small changes can benefit or harm nature. Adding the ability to quickly take back an action would, we felt, rob the game of some of its impact.

Fair enough. Thanks! And I really appreciate how active this team is with the community!

Thinking about it though, it would be cool to test chains reactions by getting rid of a key creature for a biome...for instance deleting a pollunator for instance and watch the world burn mwahahah

True! We've discussed creating different play modes that would allow for this sort of thing. If this release is able to support the creation of things like DLC and/or expansions, deletion may be on the table again! We have a very loooong list of things we'd like to add if we're able to support continued development!
