The rainforest and grassland have fewer animals, but some animals can cross over into multiple biomes, like the armadillo and cougar. It all adds up to a grand total of 74 plants and animals! Now, with the Himalayas, there are 102 species across 4 ecosystems available.

Creative Director/Dev here; you're welcome!! We tried to include a mix of "celebrity" animals like jaguars, rattlesnakes, wolves, and foxes, while also including lesser-known species like yellow-footed tortoises and marsh deer. A few users have noted that animals like crocodiles, tigers, zebras, and other favorite creatures are missing from the list. This is because the desert, rainforest, and grassland biomes are based on specific geographical locations (Mojave desert, Great Plains, and Amazon rainforest) where many of these popular creatures do not live. Since we are an educational gaming company, we didn't want to, say, allow tigers in the rainforest biome, since we couldn't find any reliable information about how that would play out in real life. Plus, it's usually a bad idea to introduce animals to places where they don't naturally occur--that's how you get invasive species and devastated ecosystems!

My vote for next biodome would be Himalayan.... red pandas, snow leopards, Asian elephant, crocodile, tigers... it's such a cool area.
