This may be the award-winning noob question here, but how do you enter into online multiplayer? I see people talking about multiplay but I can not find how to get there in the game. :(

I think we made the multiplayer a little but too transparent and sometimes people miss it ...

All you need to do is hit the + button on top left to invite a player to your party

then just select a quest as normal and hit the "Not Ready" button to change to "Ready"

Then to clarify, you can only play with friends on Steam who also have the game. There is no "lobby" where you can join games?

I cant make this work, I select a quest, and drag a charakter, then ready. but my pal dont see a box tor drag pic into or a join under multiplayer ++++

If you have some photos to see when this is happening just to double check, it would be nice.
Once you are in a party and select a quest, the other people should see a button on top left of their screen to join the quest....

There should be something done about the "starting values" for MP. All players should play at an equal level, not connected with their single player profiles.

whats the problem with using your profile? if you want to be same level with a friend all you have to do is start a fresh profile together...

I have the same problem....when my friend connect and i see his icon profile then i press for new campain ..... i put one charakter in the box but i dont see any charakter of my friend,and the game wont start as it wait to appear the second charakter! My friend sees the join button and do the same move with charakter and wait until nothing happens. Anyone solved the problem? we bought keys from steam.

Not sure what the problem is but we can try together and see. each player must drag their character to a different slot of course, if nothing appears then that means there is network communication not working...

So when in co-op game with 1 friend and we enter a dungeon with max 3 players, we can only take 1 character each? why cant 1 of us not take 2 characters? does this also mean that when we reach dungeons that allow 4 players max we wont be able to take 2 characters each only 1 each?

I havnt tested MP yet but this sound hard then.. BUT if you can play with your own character and ur friends character happens to have the same items, that would make it alot simple.

only 1 character per player is allowed, its also possible to end the game with 2 players if you know what you doing

I think that is a poor game design choice, i really enjoy the game but that sucks.
