Hello farming friends!

We are SO happy that you're all enjoying Petunia's Purgatory! Thank you so much for supporting our creepy little farming game.

We're also very appreciative of all the great feedback and bug reports we've received from y'all, both here and in our Discord. We've got a small patch today to fix a couple of the more common issues.

We have some bigger changes coming, but those will take a little longer. Thank you for your patience and keep an eye out for future announcements!

Patch Notes:

Made it more clear in the Sanity tooltip that you can overmax your sanity. The previous version was a little confusing

Fixed a bug where crafting sprites would stop working if you move them around. Lazy birds!

TASK BAR FARM!

Oh yeah, now you can play a game while multitasking and doing your own thing. It literally sits right on top of the bottom of your screen. You plant crops, harvest them, sell the produce, and repeat.

It’s a super cute and relaxing game. It even features a storyline and upgrades. Absolute perfect background time-killer.

This seemingly cute game can easily mislead you at first. At first glance, you'll find a pleasant, relaxing time on a farm. But this farm hides a ton of dark secrets. Are you ready to discover the secrets of this place?

Twitch options

When I try to connect my twitch to the game I get this error message 'Bad Request (Invalid host)' ver 1.0.0 EDIT: never mind. Just seen it doesn't work with firefox :( EDIT 2 Just tried to connect with Microsoft edge still getting an error. It's trying to connect to localhost but it is refused connection....

ERROR saving or loading game

As I mentioned, the game won't let me save or load games. Both the creator build and release 1.0 won't save. In the main menu, only "New Game" works, but "Continue" and "Load Game" don't. "Load Game" opens the window where the save data should be, but nothing appears, and the game freezes. I can't close it unless I force it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified file integration, and manually deleted the files from the AppData, Documents, and Steam folders. I've had this problem for month...

!planting (twitch)

The game needs a !plant option for when my twitch viewers are playing and I'm afk (imho). I realise it supposed to be down to Petunia. I can only refer to Rusty's Retirement game as a good example.
