Save data?

So my hard drive decided to kill itself out of nowhere and now i have to reinstall everything, this game included

i reinstalled it, and now i dont have anything, but it still recognizes my account, i assumed that this game was account based and wouldnt need to use local data.

did i seriously lose everything?

if you forgot your id number and the password and dont have a phone logged into it yeah you just lost your entire account

I think this is bs. I'm coming from 2016 when I last played and you can't even use my email to send the ID to myself since things changed. It used to be like that and I still have those 48 hours it will expire ID emails, but it doesn't work.

It is account based. If your account is attached to Steam or Google Play and you're using the same account, you should not lose anything. I recently bought a new PC and reinstalled everything, didn't have to do anything else.
