play the story all chapter is verygood way to have rupies, the same with hearthstone keyworks charge/storm
Play the story to get the rewards to earn enough money tyo get cards. Liquidate your cards for extra vials.

Once done, look up CURRENT META DECKS (EMPHASIS ON CURRENT) and buy yourself a tier 1 deck, and have fun playing the game for the season

If you are just looking for a multiplayer card game, then my advice to you is leave this game immediately and go play MTG or Runeterra or Gwent.
The PvP in Shadowverse is horrible without a working matchmaking and 99% netdecking and the same 1 to 4 top tier decks.
You either have a top tier deck to start with or you lose all the time.

If you want to play mainly PvE, then SV is actually one of the best card games.
The campaigns are much better than those in Hearthstone and give way more rewards.

Yes I'm trying to get into pve

How does netdecking even a problem, are you saying that doesn't happen in ANY other CCG in the world? LOL

And speaking of top tier deck this meta is actually one of the best. Lots of strong deck you can try, tier deck is just an arbitrary measure people use and it doesn't mean "lower" tier has no chance to win or worth the effort.

Seriously don't listen to that guy. Just complete story, gets more vial, and craft one of the best deck from current expansion and start growing from there

for me, you just have to choose one class that you really want to build
alex-spieleder Jan 30, 2021 @ 2:37pm
Play the campaigns first and maybe the games agaisnt classes change your quests to single player quests, and try to focuse on one and two classes to bukid an pvp deck. Maybe try take two( i think the arenaforamt of drafting is better in HS (1 card out of three instread of the pair chossing here) but you can have some competion without worring about goldnoobs)

And dont think of leaving the quintuplet format, since the other ones is broken as hell
Imagin with an two card combo to get an 10/10 who can atack 3 times and has storm.

PS you can add me and if we are both online you can fight against me. Dont woory i never locked into an decklist so i am pretty sure my decks for quintuplet are not high-tier.

You're saying this as if this is the only game where a meta exists and people netdeck. I'm sorry, have you played any tcg competetively before this? Because I'll assure you, they ALL have meta's that people follow. There's a reason why it's called a meta to begin with and it exists everywhere.

Maybe the main between real live card games like Magic and onlline card games like shadowverse os.
In real live you can often play more casual formats like pauper or multiplayer. You dont need to stick to formats like (Vintage,Legacy and modern) who has a meta and high competiton.
But there are at least ban lists.

You can play shadowverse casual( so only the capaigns and the draft formats) but in doing so for me it lacks content then. But in doing good on the ladder you have to use the tier decks and to do that you habe to played the other content before going here which some type of players dont like.

u should be fine, by making just 1 or 2 deck, its might be hard for first 3 month, but after that its a smooth road.
u can play it as much as u can or just play daily or just on event, and still able to get decent amount of new cards.

after that, its road of baby rage or me goes brrr brrr moment. And u can enjoy the animation while playing it.

Sorry for necroposting, but no one answer to that question. So I answer you, Behind The Card. It's simple - in Shadowverse you just can't play any meme deck, it's almost impossible. Nor ranking, not unranked (there is no difference between people, in this formats). There is many interesting cards, but Dev do not give a chance to play them. Meanwhile in others card games it's not so hard, like in Shadowverse. And this is not a secret, since many poeple already told about that a years ago. Shadowverse has one of the toughest netdecking.

Is one of the reason why i left.
Another one is for the "fast matches": The game last 4-6 turns (so basically no fun allowed+what actually is the matter to have up to 10 pp if always the game finish much earlier?), but you waste 30-40 min in these few turns just because everybody take their time to slack off on this.
Ofc i didn't bring out the stupid censorship, since it came out later, but that is the reason why i'm not coming back instead (or at least untill i [they] uncensor all of it).

If we're talking "meme" deck then what do you expect? It's called meme deck for a reason. Those kind of deck supposed to be just for fun and not to be taken competitively. You can try these kind of deck in Unranked where the amount of meta deck is less prevalent. You'll be pair with other meme / test deck sooner or later and this is coming from someone who make meme video for a living.

For interesting cards they do support them. It's usually done in stages where they got support from expansion to the next expansion.

What does "Shadowverse has one of the toughest netdecking" even mean?
Is it hard to find meta deck? (Gamewith, ManaSurge, etc)
Expensive? (Not anymore since we have temporary gem)

Whatever you mean by that is not "netdecking", get your term correct

Your statement literally contradict each other. "Fast matches" that last 4-6 turns but then you say 30-40 min? What are you talking about.

If you meet a troll (which usually happen in low rank from what I heard because they want free win) then that doesn't count. After you're out of beginner rank (around B to A rank) the game will progress normally without anyone roping for time.

The game is designed to be fast (not the troll kind) and that's the main appeal of Shadowverse. Even if that's the case you can now competitively play something that can go / designed to go past turn 6 such as Gremory and Sanctuary Haven.

If you quit because of censorship then sucks to be you. SV isn't an eroge where these "lewd" element is even part of the game. You have other game designed for it and if you're bothered by them toning it down then your expectation is honestly misplaced.
