How to open crate packs?

Stupid question but first time trying this game out. So I've logged in and claimed all the packs from the crate that ppl got from maintenance and such but can't find a way to open them also checked the collection to see if they add automatically, that wasn't the case.

You go into the shop tab at the bottom, then choose buy packs

You're given the option to buy with pack tickets (which you should have a number of to use that were added from the crate)
