How long do my temporary cards last?

They permanent but you can't disenchant them and buy more than 1 copy but you can have more than 1 copy (buying decks that have this cards).

in the game it says they will dissappear from your deck when a new set of cards or expansion is out (or something like that, it's literally there in the game if you look into it); some ppl say when latest rotation expansion is gonna.. well, rotate out; there were changes similar to this that happened so I doubt they are permanent... it's definitely more long-lasting but not permanent, look up the definition of words before typing lol

I still have all my "Temporary" cards from Classic card set and above so I don't know what else to tell you.
They cannot dissapear from your collection but can from your deck due to card set rotation if you talking about that.

That notice was only for the temporary decks. The normal temporary cards were named that with the intent that they would be temporary, but word is that Cygames changed their mind.

I'm not sure the exact amount of time the temporary cards last but it's a very long time. I still have temporary cards that I bought in the store 2-3 expansions ago. Expansions come every 3 months i think.

Hi, I'm playing since 2nd month of Wonderland Dreams so I can tell pretty easily what happened with this system since it was made back in Rebirth of Glory iirc. (or maybe a bit earlier ? i don't remember exactly but it was in around the same time they did the sort-of "Vault" thing with the 400 booster points for 1 leggo of your choice)

The only official answer they came with was basically "We don't know when we'll remove them from players inventory, but we'll probably tell you when we'll be doing it" (check temporary card announcement) and then they went silent on the subject after that.

I think it is a sort-of mistranslation in terms of context, what is Temporary ain't the cards themselves. However, we actually don't have any idea of what is Temporary in the end for those from the Shop. (i don't know JP but maybe in JP it's "Limited" Cards ? that could be it since we can buy only 1 of those so it's "Limited" to 1 copy ; if someone knows and can confirm/de-confirm ?)

However, since it happened when RoG got released, the expansions from Classic to DBNE never got temp cards, so they did what we could call a commercial move (that's my only explanation on why they did that) by giving every single legendary as temporary card from Classic to Steel Rebellion. (so the non-UL players don't feel like UL got any kind of privilege probably ?)

The same misconception is actually done with Temporary Decks but i think it's probably easier to understand : they aren't temporary in your inventory, for those it's all about their availability : they're temporary based on the fact you need to get the ticket in game to get those. As a matter of facts, i still have the first Blood Temporary Deck (which was really worth it for any kind of deck) in my inventory.

And one last thing about temp' cards : they apparently don't have tags in their database for which cards are temporary cards from temporary decks or which cards are temporary from buying/event gifts, so they could not remove Temporary Cards of Temporary Decks without creating a lil simple loop that would check every single player purchasing logs.

If they are lazy to the point of stopping non-EN/JP translations on Story Mode, never fixing translation issues in non-EN/JP translations (for example, there is 2 Cards that are well known in the French community to have mistranslation issues since they got released : those cards are Heavenly Aegis and Zeus, the Supreme), firing every single non-JP Community Manager for apparently no reason (even if Chusan was the "international" CM, he was JP and had some issues with English for what i know of him and even now he's not a CM anymore), i clearly think they're lazy enough to don't think about doing a loop that checks every player account in order to remove Temporary Deck Cards that are for quite a lot of those not even used in both formats anymore (especially for the first temp decks since some of the cards rotated out and are just way too slow compared to Skullfane in UL) from their inventory.

P.S. : for the timing of the expansions, it's 1 update each month with either balances changes or not and 1 major update that adds an expansion every 3 months. (Late December/Early January, Late March/Early April, Late June/Early July, Late September/Early October) For mini-expansions, it's always around 2 months after the release of the expansion/around 1 month before the next expansion release.
