I spend ages crafting a deck, trying to find a good ratio of many cheap cards curving down to game enders, yet for some reason -with a deck mostly of 1-2 cost cards I always seem to end with a hand of 5-7 cost card.
Just spent an hour crafting a new Fairy deck, full of cheap cards only to lose 5 matches in a row because the game thinks being able to do nothing for 4 turns would be good for me.
If you're on a budget, I recommend blood and sword aggro (banner). They are both effective and inexpensive.
Cheap and easy to play
My advice is to net deck until you understand the game a little bit. Let's move onto the discussion.
Swordcraft is easy to play and very cheap, allowing you to learn how the game actually plays out. Complete the story mode for Floral Fencer and Royal Banner and you can make a very powerful aggro deck for (mostly) free. Cards that are very good in this deck and are cheap to craft since there are few golds that actually work well in this archetype besides Alwida's Command and maybe Gemstaff Commander. I will be mentioning Legendaries since a lot of people reroll their accounts but they aren't required to make the deck work.
These are just a fraction of the good/great cards in Swordcraft that require to be built or obtained in a pack. The rest of the really good cards for Sword are basic cards that you get for free (Luckily enough.). Oathless Knight, Sage Commander, etc. For deck lists; https://shadowverse.gamepress.gg/decks/swordcraft
