tips for getting cards

What are some tips for getting cards? how have the rest of you been getting cards? buying packs? crafting cards using vials? the take two game mode?

I quit the game because of dedicating myself to other games but from my experience: completing dailly missions and going to take two helped me get a lot of cards. Whenever there's an event go and play since they have rewards like cards, gold or emblems. After earning those sweet rupies I used to buy packs in sets of 5 or 10 and crafted cards when in desperate need of a card for a deck (mostly legos since RNG jesus game dupped legos). In the end I got almost all of Dawnbreak Nightedge cards.

well, you see, back in the day i started, meta decks where really cheap. i just did all the story stuff and beat all expert AIs,and boom, enough gold, packs, tickets and dust to craft a top tier meta deck.
With that deck i started to grind the ladder and get even more free gold and stuff.
i think that is still the best way to do it, if your a starter. i recommend to build a unlimited deck, because they are cheaper.
if you want to play rotation, you can build a mysteria deck, the other decks are to expensife, for a starter.
however, if you are not a starter, doing daylie quests for gold and grinding ladder is basicly the only ways to get "quick" gold. maybe also by playing take two, if you into that draft stuff.
With that gold you can buy the booster packs, you need the most cards from. also dusting bad and animeted cards, to craft staples is the way i got better cards to grind the ladder even faster.
Also if you are carfting cards, better build meta decks.

when you say climb the ladder, you mean ranked right? i'm C3 in unlimited rank, i have a mysteria deck but i don't know if its still in rotation. im very much a starter, all i have are unlimited decks.

thats a lot of gold.

misteria is a good deck in rotation right now. it should cut trough C3 ladder really fast, beacuse its also good in master rank.

what deck are you playing in unlimited? aggro works really well in low ranks.

i still have to do dragon and portal in story mode, actually working on a aggro dragon rotation deck atm. as for what i play in unlimited i play aggro sword, aggro blood, aggro shadow, mystiera, holy mage haven.

i have an unlimited mysteria deck. what stuff goes in rotation mysteria? also any tips when playing take two?

aggro sword is perfect to grind unlimited ladder. short games and only 2 legendary cards (2x3 aka total 6) cards needed. albert and celia

take two is really hard. all i can say is that picking value cards is importand, also pick EVERY removal card you can get. dragon is really good in take two. lion crystal haven is also really good. practice is the key word for take two.

also, if your card pool is small, maybe you should only work on 1 deck. but dont dust the staple cards of the other classes. only dust legendary cards, you know are bad or you will never play.

but grinding ladder with aggro sword, sounds lika a good plan for quick gold.
before you kno, what deck you want to build next, grind gold with aggro sword.

also since you seem to know alot about this game, are there any decent decks that use the fate tie-in promo followers? if there are not no big deal. they just look cool to play.

Snarling chains are staple for unlimited blood. Lancer is played in mid sword,although people have been cutting him out to make way for other cards. Exsucaliba is played in jerry deck. Caladbolg 4.0 is staple for forest unlimited.

Other than that,not really. Basaka and dark seiba may see play every now and then but it's very rare.

so when i looked at that page there was a 40 card deck build. would you say that is a good one to go with?
