Does Swordcraft suck or am I just bad?
I feel like there is nothing I can ever do as Swordcraft against any of the other crafts. First I tried focusing my deck around a low point agro build, but that doesn't seem to work since the other craft cards are just so much better at low points it seems. Then I tried to build around amulets but by the time I can get one out Im usually already low on defense and losing terribly.

If anyone has suggestions, I would love to have them because right now playing is really demoralizing since I lose every game and I feel like I am playing the best I can with what I draw every game.

What's your current build or builds you're using?

swordcraft is good, it has flaws but its my favorite craft. If you build a aggro deck with low points follower, try to put some commander to boost your board in mid game or late game (luminous mage is really good and pretty afordable or King Arthur can fill up an empty board and trim your deck of your low cost followers). You can also put big finisher like the Earthshake Ogre (wich has Fanfare: deal 3 damage and Evolve: Deal 3 damage) that seems to be really good for me so far, clutching out victories when your opponent is low but has a big board.

I'm not really using any specific builds at the moment ( I probably don't have the cards for it) but what I'm using right now as in mid-experimentation is:

you should try to get 3 copys of most cards for them to be viable(also note your deck is for unlimited which is not recomanded for newbies)
anyway for aggro play style the low drop should be free offenseive

you should have a good amount of 1 drops (like 3Xquiek blader and 3X vanguard at least if you want a rotation deck put 3 goblins instant if you have persus add him)

your other drops should be more about adding damage to your 1 drop (like palance vencer) or have storm like albert/novice troopers/julliat or swarm enemys like oathless knight

Too many one ofs. Get 3 copies for most cards. Craft 3 Alberts if you want to play Sword, no matter what. Craft 2-3 Luminous Mage to help swing the game around. Free evos is always good.

In rotation sword is pretty solid with mars silent flame general, Arthur knight king & Albert I don't have Arthur but even without it's still pretty good but you should have at least 2 alberts and 2 mars, 3 Perseus, 1 or 2 round table Assembly depends on how much Mars you have I also like to have Fangblade slayer for the turn before I use Albert to finish it.

Swordcraft is useless against shadow without aggro storm to kill them before turn 6+. nothing this class has in standard can compare with thane+kektar+zombie partie into new shadow albert as midrange. And aggro storm is dead so.. you're on the short end of the stick, again.

More 3x of each card, the standard midrange/aggro sword(storm cards/Albert ez win) should be still okay.
I used to use Tsubaki and Cyclone blade to improve midrange shadow matchup, not sure if its still worth it .
(unlimited)

Search the web and find a deck that people in tournaments use. Then begin building that deck even if you don't have all of the cards. Just start building the deck with what you have and gradually complete the deck as you gain more resources to craft the rest of the cards. That's what I did.

Don't heistate to liquify any unnecessary cards to acquire the cards that you need. If you save your cards, then it will take longer to complete a solid deck.

Get 1 or 2 more Lancer of the Tempests too. Im running a kinda midrange deck with 2 Rolands and it's pretty fine so far btw. So a more controlish build is possible

with the last expansion swordcraft is ♥♥♥♥ (and it hurts because is my favorite craft) because the decks are pure aggro or pure control and swordcraft is based on the midrange game
Sword is bad right now everywhere. In unlimited it's because of the nerf they recieved last expac and in rotation it's because of the nerf AND the new expac bringing nothing useful aka storm for swords. Some may want to deny it,but swords have always been about playing storm on face turn after turn, ever since the otomeme is killed thanks to stupid amount of removals they start introducing in the RoB. It's so funny that they print Arthur who is basically more or less the same as otomeme,it's like giving a middle finger to swords.

Midrange sword is good in rotation, I got to 4k MP just this day with it. Aggro is still the go to deck for unlimited (though I got to Grandmaster last month with Neutral Sword).

I don't know why people are saying sword is bad when I can still get 4-7 winstreak with it and have a possitive winrate. Arthur, Lancer of the tempest and the very much underated Confront Adversity are what makes it strong this expact. I admit that there are still bad matchups like ramp dragon and burn rune but between midrange shadow which is popular on ranked it can go toe to toe.

Unlike Sword, Blood is more at the bad side right now within the rotation format.

Arthur is amazing card actually in a vacuum and has far higher value than otohime. It fills the board, draws early game trash from the deck and put in on table, which means it also clears the deck from useless draws post turn 7. Its overall value is far above 10pp, around 12 actualy.
The problem is that meta right now is filled with cards like thane, master levi, ramp baha and others, that are clearly not balanced toward standard weakened state.
