Spending vials : multiple golds/silvers or Legendary ?

Hi guys !
I'm pretty new to this game, jumped in last week, actually beginner 3 and currently have 4240 vials to spend. I'm torn between spending them in a combination of gold and silver cards or just one legendary card.

I'm playing a ton of Havencraft since I've started, so I would prioritize on building a deck for it. The only thing is, it needs a LOT of legendaries (3 snow white, 3 aegis...huh).
I also like Bloodcraft and Shadowcraft but not a huge fan of aggro decks which is a problem when you don't have much. I've heard Alice is a staple for a lot of top tier decks.

Also, I'm playing against Beginner 3/D0 players that have Shadowcraft decks with like 2x Rex Aeternus, 3x Eachtar and a Cerberus so it's hard to compete.. (pay to win ? :x)

When i started (2 months ago) i just build some cheap aggro/storm cuz for control style u need them cards (Eachtar/Nepthys/Dark Alice etc) :D For heaven u can live without snow white. Usually i settle on 2 legendaries if i rly want to build deck cuz 3 feel like a waste :P For haven most important cards that should be crafted tribunal/themis(gold), im at B2 right now and there is a lot of heaven so it usually end with who can play his aegis first competition If u didn't already u can beat AI on elite and elite 2 for total 2800gold and 20 private matches (with different ppl) for another 2000gold total and u should find some legends

- It is not P2W, I have 7 decent decks (one for each class) and never paid anything. I had an 8th deck with 100% Neutral cards (made before they were OP), but I deleted it since I am sick of Neutrals these days.

At first you don't actually need to craft anything, just do the solo missions and pick up ALL bonuses and you will get a lot of cards. I had around 9k rupies and maybe 10k vials from doing this.

For quite a long while I only crafted Silver cards, then went to Golds. Exception was a single Eachtar since I mained Shadowcraft. I have 2 now.

- As a rule, 3*Gold is much better than 1*Legendary. In fact you can make very good and fun decks with zero legendaries quite easily (now that a lot of cancer got nerfed).

This includes Haven, the only "expensive" thing you really need is (Gold card!) Themis to get rid of those huge boards which are prevalent these days. I don't use Humpty Dumpty (Silver card) in my Haven deck since I have Death Sentence (Silver card) and a single Tribunal (Gold card).

- Don't go too high in Ranked, it is pointless and only makes daily missions harder than they have to be.

So, after reading this, I think I'll probably start by crafting the most crucial gold cards to begin with and build this Aegis deck as I go !
I think I will start with 3 Themis like you said but I'll still have some vials left, (1090 actually) so what do you recommend I do ? Maybe crafting a few important silvers like Aria Best Call, those kind of things ? Or a second Tribunal ?

I already did Elite 1 and Elite 2 quests but I didn't know I could win 2k more with "private matches" :o What is that ? You need a lot of friends and I'm the only one playing this game in my circle of friends haha. That being said, I'd kill for more packs right now :P

When you start off its best to ethier play alot of take2 to acumulate decent chunk of cards or just daily login and missions. Make sure you completed storymode till chapter 11 at least, since you get 2 take 2 tickets per leader this way. Making some aggro/midrange deck because it can carry you to victory ain't fun in my opinion, think of decks that exist and pick one that'll be more fitting to your tastes. Overtime you'll eventually get to the point where you can build, pretty much anything.
Do note that take2 is good for both, getting bigger collection and learning mechanics/becoming better overall. There's also thing, as hope for them to spam free alot of free packs.

As for Ejiz haven, you don't really need snowwhite, especially after her nerf as she becomes, pretty much, vanilla 2/2 with downside and having something as frog cleric will do just as good.
Whole premise of that deck is to not take too much damage till t9 where you can drop your stalwart angel so he carries you on his wings to victory in next 2 turns, so as stated before me tribunal/themis are must include, you need 3x themis but not really 3 tribunals, especially if shadow going to be rampant again. Cards that can be considered in that deck are March hares Teatime or Lion spirit, but spirit is now weaker since his 2 dmg aoe doesn't cut it anymore(stil can be huge sometimes) since Alice didn't get nerf. Im pretty sure, only legendary you need in Ejiz haven is Ejiz himself and rest can be replaced with cheaper alternatives, can even run 2 of him if you believe in hearth of cards and will always draw him till turn 9. Another notable include may be judge of retribution, as he's priest of the cudgel for 6 pp with cardraw as a bonus, 1-2 can be enough.

Oh yeah, another thing i forgot to mention is that you can reroll your account to try getting better starting base, also note that whenever you reroll and get 1 of the following Ouroboros, Spawn of the abyss or Snowwhite they effectively turn into any legendary you want.

Sidenote: without Ejiz deck won't win as much, hence he's core and should be one of first cards on craft list.

Damn, I already have Ouroboros and Spawn of the Abyss but didn't know I could liquefy them for 3500 ! Which one should I liquefy in your opinion (according to the current meta) ?

So, as of now I did craft 3x Themis Decree, 2x Beastcall Aria and 2x March Hare's Teatime.

My only question now would be, with the 1090 vials I have left, should I get another Tribunal (I have only one) or another Judge (I have 2 already) ?

For private matches achievment u don't need to win just to play 20 different ppl. So usually if u want to do it create lobby get code and post it here (https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowverse/comments/6jrgeq/private_match_megathread/) and just let ppl quick kill u (just pass turn) :D I have 0 friends and i did it so u can do it

1) Don't play Take Two unless you have tickets for it. Then pay attention on how profitable it was, if it was profitable then you can spend rupies on it because you can always liquefy Standard cards that are extras. I also always liquefied all animated cards without mercy (including a few legendaries).

3) Good cheap craftable "value" cards in Haven are:

- Bronze: Hallowed Dogma (fantastic, versatile), Temple of the Inquisition (depends on rest of deck if it "fits" the concept, good if you have board wipes like Humpty), Candelabra of Prayers (fantastic when combined with Death Sentence for some heavy nuking, does NOT combine with Veteran Tamer and Birdkeeping Disciple), Veteran Tamer (great, combines well with Hallowed Dogma), Birdkeeping Disciple (same thing), Soul Collector (good combo with HD for nuking big boys), Monk of Purification (healing + card draw via MHW), Octobishop (in Guardian Sun decks, since he becomes a nice ward), MHW (I used it a lot when in "budget" mode, nowdays no because it is a dead card early), Sister Initiate (good stats if you need 3-drops, can activate things)

- Silver: Guardian Sun (hilarious if you make a deck of 4+ defense things, works via attrition), Beastcall Aria (great value, works well with HD), Prism Priestess (if she fits in the deck/curve), Iron Maiden (situational, not good vs board flooding but good vs few bigger things), Ancient Lion Spirit (not as good now vs Neutral floods, Humpty takes his place, but can be used vs Shadow/Forest), Death Sentence (great combined with instant triggering), March Hare's Teatime

- Gold: Themis (fantastic when you fall behind), Judge of Retribution (situational), Tarnished Grail (win condition + a sort of board clear), Garuda (I don't use him but he fits in some decks), Tribunal

There might be more and some people might disagree but these are all good in budget decks (not all at once in the same deck though :p).

Good cheap Neutral cards are: Unica (quasi ward with heal), Humpty (early board clear), Bellringer (not needed in Haven), Healing Angel (ditto), Khaiza (I love this guy, not in Haven though), Feena (maybe my favorite card ever), Dance of Death

P.S. Tribunal over Judge IMO. Think about Grail though.

It is somewhat strange-looking since I didn't focus on it, but it works extremely well these days. Humpty, 2 more Themis, Grail can replace the legendaries.

Yes I only use my available tickets for Take Two :) So far I did 3 runs with 2, 3 and 4 victories.
I believe the latter was 1 pack + 130 golds :)
Thanks for the reddit post, I did 6 battles for now and I can't wait to open my packs ! What extension should I pick though, a combination of Tempest, Wonderful Dreams and Bahamut or just stick to one in particular ?

For the rest I think I'll craft another Tribunal and see what I get from all the packs to decide what to do craft next :p Your decklist will help me a ton in replacing some of the expensive stuff I currently don't have with nice little early game bronze cards ;)

I never crafted 3 Gold cards when I was just starting, because you can get the 3rd from a pack and 2 are usually enough.

As for packs:
1) go to Cards menu -> Create (so you can see all cards)
2) go into filter
3) pick one by one pack set and see which one has the most goodies you need
*NEVER buy Standard packs with rupies, you will get a ton of tickets for those eventually
4) profit

Liquify both IMO:
- Ouroboros is used in very expensive decks and frankly I removed him from mine since he was borderline anyways
- Spawn is now much less reliable since he is not automatically called and played on turn 6

As for your own legends, I very highly recommend Odin (after you take care of Aegis needs) - he is Neutral (put him in all decks), counters some very dangerous stuff, great value card.

Oh, since you are new, one more tidbit.

Fun fact: Bahamut destroys (= activates) amulets, which is hilarious if you have several on board. Usually they just resign (empty board vs. Bahamut + Tin Soldier + another follower is usually the end).
