[Discussion] Is rerolling really that important now?
There has been many conflicting opinions on rerolling, but here is my opinion.

Let me put this out first. Rerolling can get you 2-3 more legendaries then you would normally start out with. Rerolling, given enough time, will definitley get you a better start than you have now. Rerolling is in no sense, bad.

If you don't want to reroll, then don't. That time spent rerolling could net you a lot of experience on how to play the game. Not to mention that rerolling won't affect your luck later on, so for all you know your account could balance out. Rerolling is mainly for getting you the best start you possibly can, but the worth from rerolling is definitely less than picking up one of the pre-built decks for around 5$ with the crystal sale right now.

On the other hand, if you know a specific deck you want to play and ONLY want to play that deck, rerolling can save you the trouble of destroying your collection and building the cards. In that case you should reroll to get the cards you want and NEED for the deck. Pay attention to which legendaries you get, because in this case specific legendaries is more important than legendary quantity (You need to vial 4 legendaries to make 1 specific legendary).
Ex: If you want to play storm havencraft, look out for 1 or 2 moon-al miraj and go with the account that has at least 1 moon and 3-4 other legendaries than the account with 6 legendaries total. The line between quantity and quality is pretty thin, but remember that quality > quantity when choosing a reroll.

Originally, rerolling was there for the security of getting the legendaries needed for a strong deck, less important for the amount of legendaries (If you get 10 soul dealers thats ♥♥♥♥ing terrible, basically 10000 vials which is = to almost 3 good legendaries). It was great if you got both high number of legendaries and good legendary quality, but that was expecially rare. But the average new player isnt that lucky, and rerolling for that is a bit time-consuming and fully random. You can't expect everyone to put time into something as tedious as that.

Compared to the value from pre-built decks, rerolling is now mostly outclassed. Once there to give the new players the boost they need, pre-built decks do the same but better. In my experience (I rerolled about 8 times on android before giving up because none of the rerolls were better than my original), you can spend hours and days trying to no success as the system is random. And that hour you spend rerolling is worth less than getting yourself a pre-built deck (only around 5$ right now). Simply an hour in a part-time job for minimum wage can net you a further start than rerolling can. Therefore if you are that interested in investing time into rerolling, you might as well just work at your job for an hour and buy yourself a pre-built deck.

I'm not trying to anger the community that had rerolled or don't have a job, I'm just trying to say pre-builts at this point will almost always outvalue rerolling. But if you want to reroll, nobody is there to stop you, so go ahead.

I am always willing to listen to opinions, and the reason I don't want to post this on reddit is because there is always that "I'm master so my opinions are definitely better than yours." I just want to avoid that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t arrogance. But I do want to hear the opinions from the community so don't be afraid to explain why you think a certain way.

By no means buying the premade decks are the same as rerolling since what you may be looking for is not on the premade decks.

The most obvious example would be Haven. Good luck making a decent Haven deck with the prebuilt one.

Re-rolling is much easier now than what it used to be. There's literally a button provided in the client for you to re-roll should you want to.

Title Page - > Menu - > Clear Cache

A friend who started playing after the RoB update re-rolled 6 or 7 times in little more than an hour before she was satisfied with her starters.

Back when i started playing, i didn't re-roll because it was too much of a waste of time (also, i had no android device at hand back then), and i was a lot more interested in playing my cards than getting the ideal starter drops. I'd wager that even after all this time i might not have made up for all the Platinums i missed out on.
