Also this is not casual game really, you're given a lot of free gold and packs at the start for a good reason. Thus everyone to be expected to have at least one top notch deck from the start. Whatever people on lower ranks can play them properly is another matter.
Open all free packs you got.
Play story first so you know what are all classes about. + you get nice rewards (rupies(gold) arena tickets etc)
Play against Elite and Elite 2 AI to get A LOT more rupies.
Play against 20 different people in private matches.
Now you should have a lot of cards.
Shadowverse has very friendly business model, so even you who just started playing, can get sick cards right from the start. (you can also re-roll(on steam its a little bit more complicated https://shadowverse.gamepress.gg/rerolling-guide )
Idk how much you know about card games but one of the main differences between Hearhtsone and Shadowverse is RNG. Here you cant rely on 3 drop that will discover you legendary auto win game. Here your deck has to have some idea or "soul" . So at first it might be hard to create own deck that works. Or just play budget decks at first.
https://shadowverse.gamepress.gg/decks/budget (aggro blood is probably the best)
If you are netdecker and trihard https://shadowverse.gamepress.gg
Being said, you will mostly be matched up with someone above you unless there's more beginner ranks playing at the same time.
I've already buld some decks but maybe I'm playing just the wrong class I'll try and find it out lets see how it goes :P.
@Iam Just Fat Panda
Thanks a bunch! your post was very helpful. I've played Magic (the original and PC version) and Hearthstone. I've also tried a few other titles but they were totally boring well, except this one.
Huh?. A Question is not a complaint learn the difference.
I don't really get what you mean with broken and netdecks, does netdeck mean something you can download from the internet?.
Basically, it's a deck that someone copies from another person on the net. It's usually copied many times by many people.. and is usually very strong. People who copy netdecks only care about winning and not about creating their own decks. See Daria, Roach, or Dshift.
Sword has been broken for a long time if you go by the numbers. People tend to go by feelings and so complain about weak decks like Dshift, but in reality sword has been dominant since this game started. Always having at least one top tier deck.
Pretty much play sword or handicap yourself.
Are you going to whine about Swordcraft in every single thread on the forum?
Everyone knows Albert is OP. There's no need to spam the same ♥♥♥♥ in every thread.
