Saw someone playing something like that but with Lord Atomy as well :)

That's a nice combo, Ghosthound sexton + Reaper + Ghosts, so you can keep on feeding that greedy bastard. Although quite a bit hard to pull I believe.

It's fast however.

It works probably one in twenty games, the main reason for Sexton is to get shadows from ghosts to feed the burst cards later. (and mess with Havencraft)

I run faster version myself. And yes its probably as good as shadow gonna be in this expansion..

You sure? Lower curve doen't always equal faster ;)
But its faster, and more burst oriented with full list of first drops, skeleton knights and demonic strikes and without necromancers and cursed soldiers (i feel they both are just too slow). I also like lyrial overs sexton because having enough shadows is usually not a problem by turn 6 (where your opponent suppose to die) and additional damage ping helps a lot.

Necromancer and Cursed Soldiers (and Voices of Resentment) are burst, you're looking at it wrong. ;)

And shadows definitley are a problem if you want to play consecutive Mummies/ Howls/ Soldiers

But.. i dont need to play consecutive mummies, howls, soldiers. I want always to have 1 2 3 drops on perfect curve, then drop reaper/ evolve face on turn 4-5, and finish the game by turn 6-7 with burst from hand.

Not having 1 drop on curve with aggro shadow is really painful. The problem with cards like necromancer and bone chimers is that they provide very little tempo gain compared to other board spam options. For example while playing daria rune i can just ignore bone chimera for 2 turns at least because developing my own board instead. And necromancer is usually dies to a single piercing rune with a huge tempo loss. While ie skeleton knight requires immediate response.

That's what makes it a different deck to regular aggro Shadow... it's based more on out of hand damage so takes people by surprise.

Well i still think that consistent early game is more important than an element of surprise in aggro decks, but if its works for you, its fine :)

I personally just dont see how i would win half of my games if opponent didnt die by turn 6. I mean aggro shadow doesnt have any protection against pressure outside of aggro race of forcing opponent to trade. Neither do you have any real tools to beat control past turn 7.
If they aggro race you the one who push lethal on turn 5-6 usually wins. If they start spaming saha luci turn 7 onward you're out of lethal reach and lose board faster than develope it.

and daria.. should be dead before turn 7 for obvious reasons.

This one works for me though so its fine too :)

You're going to love to fight Earth Rite then.

Even with the decklist, you (and everone else) underestimate the burst damage, that's the key strength. Not even counting evolves, there's over 50 "from hand" face damage availible in the deck, you just have to work out the best way to apply it. That's why (unlike an aggro deck) you can lose the board and still win.
