Current meta is by far the WORST
I've started playing the game since the launch of the first expension and I have to admit the current meta is the worst by far. The game experience on ladder is terrible with almost everybody playing Eachtar shadow. The worst thing about this is that the deck has > 60% winrate going first (see https://shadowverse.gamepress.gg/meta-deck-analytics-may-22-28) making the game feels like a coin flip of who go first who win.... Their balance team did a bad job, they should have nerfed Eachtar

Going first/second problem was already here so good luck.
Right now iam playing mainly Storm Ramp Dragon. Shadow is my best matchup. (wrath drake ftw i guess)
On the other hand Vengeance blood and aggro sword is really bad. Aegis is also kinda Hearthstone matchup.

I think nerf definitely helped the meta. Although i am starting to disagree with some card design decisions Cygames made.
Lets hope "Balanced" Neutral decks played by 7 different classes will be better :steamhappy:

Well,apparently cykagames think it's better to have luna own the meta exclusively than to have both her and rowen. At least people won't complain about meta anymore...oh wait.

You know,we wouldn't be in this situation if the people in charge of game balance at cykagames actually pause to think for a sec. Shadow had much bigger winrate than dragon and they hit dragon with a megaton banhammer while letting luna off with a slap on wrist. What a joke.

Totally unforseenable that luna would dominate post-nerf meta,hah.

Nerfing Prince was a good start, but Eachatar is still a broken card. No other no other card can give insane burst while alsobeing a board clear. only from having a few 1/1 on the board.
Thats why Dark jeanne is a more balanced buffing card. you cant buff anything with 2 hp or less with her.
Eachatar would be a less stupid card if they either removed the rush from the summoned zombies, or made so he didnt buff stuff that is already on the board.

And increasing 1 pp to catacomb prince hardly qualify as sufficient. I'm really surprised tbh to see zell turn into basically unplayable card while catacomb is still there. If they really took things in equal measure they would have made prince into 5 pp (give him 1/1 extra stat for the lulz)

I think Reapers need to get nerfed too and then Shadow will lose power without touching Eachtar (since they don't seem to nerf legendaries).

Shadows did not get nerfed, plus there are A ton of other cards that need fixing and they havent even touched those. and they are already planning to add a new pack.

there aren't really worth way to invest your shadow, but now squasher will destroy your evolved follower with mere 4 shadow for 2 pp drop( not requires evolve to trade with it), eachtar....well you know what eachtar do...

it's just so damn worth it.

there is no way you're not evolving trying to maintain board against shadow, it's not situational, evolve is THE MAIN FEATURE of Shadowverse.
4 shadow is so easy to get for squashing your evolved follower for no effort nor wasting removal/ evolve.

Oh yes,yes it will change things up. In the same way that nobody bothered playing zell anymore because of his overcost,bringing catacomb cost up to 5pp will ensure that this card disappear from shadow meta for good. As it is right now,4pp is still a very good bargain to make those t1-3 followers stick around. I'm just saying it's only fair that luna should get some of her tools gimped down too,considering what they did to rowen,who actually had a much lower wr than her lol
