What does the phrase "Hustle Cat" mean?

Is it a Japanese pun or reference? An odd translation of something?

I'm asking because I own a green ceramic plate with a cat drawing and the words "hustle cat" on it, and it's at least five years old. (I bought a matching bowl, but my mother fell in love with it.)

I've never been able to figure out what it meant; the cat isn't a character or anything. It's a nice plate, and my cat doesn't seem insulted, but I always felt like there was a story missing.

It is a reference to the plate and bowl you have. In the first backer update for the kickstarter, they explained it. I think they have a mug with "hustle cat" on it.

Thank you for explaining it to me! I'm disappointed that this doesn't solve the original mystery, but it's nice to know that other people have seen those ceramics.
