Me too, it's ruined the game for me. The only methods I have found so far is to focus on lanes where you see them as loot, and then pick up a red stone to clear the rest of the tier. I hate doing this though. I'd rather base my attacks on the enemies' positions, but every decision made is instead for the almighty torch.

I just noticed an option on the title screen where you can spend points for upgrades, there's probably stuff there that helps

After a few runs you can get fuel upgrades, I've found using the Potion generation skill (Faith i think) you can sacrifice low level pots for extra fuel. As a result I think I found the final boss today, so torches were less of an issue (still a huge issue, but I found myself ultimately underleveled by the end, pretty getting 1 hit a limb. At the very least the 5k PP will help my future runs :D

The game itself should be renamed to "A Torch only lives twice". After 3½ hours of gametime not once have I lost due to damage or healing but always due to running out of torches.

I was expecting a game focused on healing and what I got was a game focused on torches. Not once have I encountered challenge in healing or managing damage income.

LMAO, keeping it going. Even with upgrades torches are annoying. Why make them so brutal when there's literally an enemy which just wrecks the knight? The big blue boy. I feel like the skills are a trap, because most of them aren't very good or require a lot of investment whereas some are just instant takes and remain vital throughout the entire run
