Such a disappointing endgame grind
This is such a great, unique and satisfying game. But if you are going for 100% then you end the game on such a sour note. The grind to Rank 12 is so awful with boring daily games that can be beaten by just submitting the bare minimum gem requirements. And it is all made even worse when you find out the one actually fun game mode gives a slap in the face for XP. "Oh you spent half an hour playing this super fun rogue lite, Survival mode, oh here's 25XP per Round". Why? /rant

My biggest let down is trying to get the local multiplayer to work for the game! does it work for you?

It's unfortunate that the fastest way to generate XP is to spam losses in Daily cook-off; that generates 3-4k xp/hr compared to playing for victories on 2-judge cook-offs, which generates 1.5-2k xp/hr. Although I sound like an armchair developer with no actual dev experience, a micro-patch to increase Daily Cook-Off XP to 1,000/win with a similar (if not greater) push to survival XP generation would be a massive quality-of-life increase to late adopters and/or completionists.

I can't agree more. The xp amount for lvl12 compared to what you gain is ridiculous.
Also agree for the survival challenge. I hoped it would award decent xp since it is fun but just 25xp per round. :@

I wholeheartedly agree. The game was very good until I found myself missing only one achievement and I had to spend hours and hours on end on this grindfest. It left a sour taste and I don't know if I can really recommand the game because of that.

I know most players don't care about achievements, but my point of view is that the developpers created the achievements to incite players to try cool things they wouldn't have otherwise, and so they're part of the overall intended experience.
Well, my opinion is that, despite BCB being a very good game in its system, the overall intended experience is deeply disapointing.
