Executive Chef Achievement
Good lord, this achievement is an utter nightmare. It's not like it's hard to win a match, but just the longevity of it is astounding. I only just got level 10 of 12, and now to get to level 11, it wants 10,000 more points. For a total of 36,595 points.

Let's do some math here.
A win is 200 points, you get 20 more for Big Win, No Mistakes,Happy Judges, and Streak. And Streak is glitchy and I've found it often stops working even if you've been playing each day for weeks.

So in one match you can win 280 points, minimum 200. That means it'll take 35 to 50 days to reach level 11. That's on top of the previous points I had, which means it took anywhere from 89 to 120 days. I don't know how much it takes from 11 to 12, but I assume it'll be at least 60 days minimum.

Meaning to get this achievement, you have to play this game, every day, for at least 200 days. That's just insane.

I dont know about 200 days but I clocked in about 110h and got it. It's easy when you're having fun :P

I totally agree, this achievement is just broken. It's an absolute bore.
It could be fun if there was some difficulty or if the leaderboard wasn't bugged, but as it is, there isn't any challenge to it. It's nothing more than grinding for the sake of grinding.

Interesting piece of information : to reach level 12, you'll need 50K XP. With an average of 250XP per play, you'll make it in only 200 daily cook-off. With an average of 8 minutes per play, that makes for slighlty less than 27 hours of pure grinding.
Enjoy.

The fastest way of gaining the exp is to just start a daily match and turn in ingredients you have. The best way to grind is to wait for a day where the rng gives you the number of items there are judges.
E.g.If for the day you plan to grind you get a puffer fish and another item, and there are 3 judges, you just need to place an ingredient at the first spot closest to the judges, pick it up and give one, and just repeat for the second one and you will get 100 exp , that takes roughly 10-15 sec to give all the items + 25-35 secs for judging , and 3-5 secs for loading the next round. So you gain around 100exp per min, can be faster if there are 2 judges.

P.S. it takes 50 000 to get to rank 12 so good luck.

Finally got it months later. Though, ha, did skip some days here and there. And I gotta say the person above me is just wrong. You can't just grind for a whole day, you only accumulate points for the best you do in a challenge. So let's say it's Monday, you currently have 20,000 experience. You do the daily challenge, win, and get a big win, so you get 220 points. You try again, this time you get 240 points. Now your exp is at 20,240, it's not adding both point values together.

Congrats, glad to hear you got it! For those stumbling upon this thread wondering the same thing, Daily Cook Off is not the only way you can grind it. Survival scores in the Challenges mode also count as well, albeit Daily Cook Off is quicker.

However, if you play this game a lot, the achievement would be a breeze. I got mine quite about 50 hours in (I think?), and still do Daily Cook Offs every now and then.

I agree with @Kyp that the Daily Cook Off isn't fun anymore due to the recent leaderboard glitch. I used to be so thrilled when I got into top 3 but today seeing my previous top scores stuck on top of the leaderboard has no meaning because they are from previous matches. I still play Daily Cook Off every now and then, but most days the top score is impossible to beat because it was from a previous cookoff that allowed more score, specifically more books (example: maxed out 900 with apprentice book will never beat maxed out 900 with master book).
