Looking for a tip on an ingredient

Hi,

I'm trying to get Verskit Blood - Attacking directly doesn't seem to make it, and I've been leaving food by them for them to eat and so far not getting any Blood. Any tips on what I should do?

By the way, love the game so much so far - amazing job

Let them eat the ingredient until they turn a red colour then you can get blood from then when you kill them.

Specifically, drop a Windfruit or Nochi Fruit near them - they'll eat it and turn pink!

Ah don't give them Windfruit! It has some of the highest level gems in that level. Give them a nochi fruit or ice turnip. They only eat vegitarian, so droping meat won't work.
