Game sounds do not work :(
I have been looking forward to buying this game for awhile, and I finally have yet its does not work properly. The character's voices and the sfx in the game do not work. I have tried many things but I can not get it to work. I do not know how to fix this, so if someone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using any specific setup, like surround sound or something?

I suspect you have set up your system's audio to use more channels than your hardware supports. You may be using Stereo Speakers or Headphones - but have configured 7.1 surround or Quadraphonic.

If using Windows, please run the sound manager by typing "mmsys.cpl" in the Run prompt (Windows Key +R), or navigate to it in the control panel.

Find your default playback device, select it, and open the configuration. Make sure that "Stereo" is checked under "Audio Channels:" Make sure you finish the configuration by clicking the "Finish" button.

If you are using a surround sound setup, do check all connections and the functionality of your hardware.

Doesn't look like the OP ever responded, but just want to say thank you Slaskburk as I was having the same issue and this fixed it (config was set to 5.1 surround by default). Much appreciated!
