I just finished the game a few minutes ago and got that ending. Kinda ticked me off lol. I know this game barely came out not too long ago but I really truly hope that there is a better Mayuri ending. T_T

Im losing hope..I just finished getting all 5 bad endings, which killed my finger from all that clicking lol. I unlocked all the gallery pics plus the music and comic and voice files in the extras. I can't think of anything else I could do. And it doesn't even say WHY Mayuri left, was it cuz of that nosy nun? Too much unaswered questions...

I know this is just the first of 4 games. The second follows "The girl in the wheelchair" as the MC, and is set in the summer season.

The 3rd Autumn installment was released this year? And follows the silver haired Senpai as the MC.

Those two have no translations as of yet though, obviously since this first one just got done.

The description to the 3rd one indicates that Mayuri leaving, is in fact the true end as it makes note to Suoh trying to find out what happened to her. At least in the description I read.

So yeah unanswered questions but I imagine they'll probably be answered through the other parts? At least I would like to think I finally get an answer to why she left haha.

Yeah I just finished unlocking all endings and came directly to the forums to ask about Mayuri ending, glad you guys already discussed it.

@Three of Eight, judging from the 2nd and 3rd games description, it seems we will only get to see Mayuri story conclusion at the 4th game, but VNDB page says it's planned for a 2017 release, so who knows how long until we get an english translation :/

Ah! It makes sense. As I mentioned I read the 3rd one has Suoh looking into it (or at least what I could gather) but wasn't sure if it'd have any answers in it. Makes sense if it was wrapped up in the 4th one instead.

2017 sounds about right also with the 3rd being earlier this year.

Who knows on a translation indeed! But we have two others to get translated before it (If they do. Fingers crossed. I imagine they had plans to since they did the first but things happen D=) so depending on how long they take to be released we could potentially not be waiting uber long for it? Wishful thinking perhaps lol.

I just got the Mayuri ending after three playthroughs and realizing I needed that first to get the Rikka ending (which was pretty dumb of me,,, eheh), though I had known Mayuri went missing in the second game beforehand. It's also interesting how, during the Rikka route, you get far more interactions with Erika than if you were to do Miyuri's route. Although Mayuri's route is the true, canonical route which leads up to the second game, I like how they implemented interactions between Suoh and Erika in the opposite route to tie it all together. It'd make no sense if you had little interactions with Erika, and then you found out she was the main character of the second game, y'know?
I just hope they translate the second game eventually. I'm willing to wait - I waited forever for this installment.
As much as I love Rikka, Mayuri's bittersweet route brought tears to even my eyes.

So I just finished the game and got this ending, so what happens now? Do I just start a new game and replay it for Rikka, her route be open now?

After looking at the ending panel, there is 7 endings in total?

Yep, Rikka's route is unlocked now, that's about it. The seven endings are 4 bad endings from failing the detective portions, Rikka's end, Mayuri's bad end and Mayuri's true end.

Suoh, Mayuri and Rikka will be the MCs of the 4th game in this serie, which is the end of this serie. I think their story will not really come to an end until then.

I hope this has a better ending en hiver (forgive the French-speaker in me), because the hopeless romantic in me is in a rage and I feel like crying. There, I said it. That doen't happen often.

Mayuri and Suoh just seem made for each other, in my opinion. That said, I love this story.

Oh there'd BETTER be some closure on Suoh/Mayuri by the last game. I got so upset at the end of the Mayuri story... to give us that really sweet ending then that I just...

Seeing as they're the main characters of Hiver, I'm assuming they will! Though, that won't be translated for a few years since Été isn't even out in English yet...

I just... Uh... Don't like that kind of ending. Really, really, and I know that I will think and think and think about it. eh... Please tell that Rikka's ending is at least good before I start once again.
