One of the books was The Life of Mary Magdalene, which was related to Mayuri. It is related because if you split Mayuri's name into a smaller name, Yuri, it would make more sense. Yuri is japanese for the flower, and name, Lily, which symbolizes the Virgin Mary. Mary Magdalene was there to see the baby Christ get born from the Virgin Mary, so they are vaguely related.
Another book was Finding your Family Symbol, which had a Golden Poppy on the cover, I think, which was what Rikka's last name is similarly. Rikka's last name is Hanabishi. The Japanese name for the Golden Poppy is Hanabishisou.
The third book was The Life of Judas. This book is related to Suoh through the Genus of the Chinese Redbud. Suoh's name stems from the Chinese Redbud, which is Hanazuou in Japanese. The Chinese Redbud is in the same Genus as the European Redbud Tree, which has another name, which is the Judas Tree.
The final book that was specified was Wuthering Heights. The main character, Heathcliff, is the one that would click for the player for Erika's real name. If you split Heathcliff up into a smaller part, Heath, you'll get a connection. A Heath is a shrubland that Heather grows in, which has the name of the Erica species.
Sorry for the long explanation, but hope this helps.
Oh WOW! I don't even know we need to have this much knowledge just to read a Visual Novel!
Edit: Okay, Suoh's explanation seemed a little bit easier.........but still completely impossible.
I can't even find where the cover for Finding your Family Symbol came up. If it was that important it should at least be the cover shown in the artwork when the books are found alongside Wuthering Heights.
Still loving everything else about this visual novel, but I'm hoping future riddles are better set up in the story itself. Because overall I generally do love riddles.
Edit: I'm at least kinda glad the game doesn't let you continue if you fail this. So that way the explanation does eventually come, and the rest of your playthrough can't be negatively affected by getting this one riddle wrong.
