Haven't played this in ten years and have forgotten almost everything :) What I HAVE remembered is that leveling took some careful management. But I can't remember what that was, beyond setting my character to run into the wall and coming back half an hour later for Athletics, I assume. What I think I recall is that I need 3 of my major skills up five each to level. I seem to remember that you don't want your other major skills to move at all unless you are leveling in those skills. Returning to the game after getting on for 20 years, there's a lot that has changed. Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine was out but I don't recall Frostcrag or horse armour or the player homes etc. Also, I've forgotten soooo much! So, first one: Why am I getting a message on-screen telling me that Pelinal Whitestrake is unconscious whenever I leave the Imperial City? I'm guessing it is to do with Kot9 but no idea what....

for some reason i cant sleep no matter where I am im playing unmodded does anyone know how to fix this?

So I was in the middle of playing and accidentally alt+tabbed my game and when I tried to get back in it didn't work and I was forced to ctrl+alt+del and sign out but cancel it so it wouldn't actually sign me out. I reloaded the game and started playing again for about an hour or so before it crashed again, so I just started the game back up again and started playing before it crashed again after playing for far less time and then rinse and repeat until the game started crashing after a mere 15-20 seconds....

Imagine having to walk up some of these hillsides or mountains. How crazy would that be?
