Does it matter where the corpse flies after you kill the mob?
Is it possible that some corpses are completely smashed and not get counted?
Is it actually tied to the corpse or to the place where mob died?
Does it only absorb souls of living things, or humanoids, or what?
Would be really great if outcome of the usage was more predictable.
EDIT: tried on the hand/eye boss and it didn't work. I suggest adding something to notify what piece we need to use it on - I suspect that I was out of range of the piece I should have had in the circle
If memory serve me well, I remember it was absorb from [Livings] in the beta. Now it seems to absorb [corpse].
It might be more reliable to cause the beads to collect souls over X seconds, similar to the scythe.
And there are "Boss Souls," which I think grant +2 to all stats, but collecting them can be unreliable as well, and I'm not entirely sure but I dont' think the Worm Boss has a soul to be collected with either the scythe or the daemonic prayer beads.
One way to get this to work is to kill a small group of orcs, then bait a few more over to where their corpses are. Most bosses also give the stat boost - I think the recent patch fixed one of the bosses that didn't give it.
