Windows 10 problems

I installed, after not playing it in a long, long time and tried to run it and I had all sorts of problems. The screen was flashing I couldn't get out of it, shutdown my machine and had boot problems. Has anyone played this on Windows 10? And, has there been any problems getting it to run?

Having the same issues. FSW won't run. I have no problems running 10 Hammers. I love this game. If anyone has a solution please share your fix.

Good to hear that 10 Hammers is running. I have it my Library but have not ran it since I went to 10. I to would like to find a solution for FSW.

I had problems with FSW 1 before Win 10. Had Vista and it seemed to be related to my internet connection. I turned off my internet and FSW worked fine. Extreme and impractical solution but it worked. Just installed and played FSW 1 on Win 10, had 0 problems with it. WIN.

I'm in the process of building a new machine, I going to see if a really clean install will help. A friend said it would, but I my doubts.

FSW works fine on Win 10 Pro here ...
i5 3570k @ 4.2ghz
gtx 780
1tb ssd
32gb ram
etc etc etc .... irrelevant past this point.

I have not ran 10 Hammers yet to see if it works, but FSW 1 works just fine for me.

I have windows 10 and have no problems at all. I am even able to run it at 1080p after I went into the resolution file and manually changed. so no problems here

Win 10 here, at first game was running smoothly and after i changed the reso the screen was flashing. After the reboot i cant run the FSW it said that "direct 3d failed" . Anyone got a solution for this?

Not to have any problem try to get a copy of the game from {LINK REMOVED} because old game on steam don't seem to work most of the time.

I agree. I bought sacrifice from steam and didnt work at all. Then I bought it from GOG and everything worked. they always make sure old games work. If it doesnt they will patch it. Now that is good service.
