How to play with higher Resolution

If u want a higher resolution... start the game, change the resolution and quit the game...
then, theres a "Resolution.cfg" in "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Full Spectrum Warrior"..

just change the values to the resolution you like

Looking in root of FSW folder I have no resolution.cfg file. I might need it as my game crashes on my 2560 x 1080 screen with "Access Violation (Illegal Write)"

I changed the resolution to 1920 x 1080 in the resolution cfg file, saved and launched the game. However when I checked the resolution in the in game menu it still showed the lower resolution. Does this matter?

no, the resolution should still be 1920 x 1080

Years late but if anyone else finds this great. Worked for me (playing 4k), changed the file to the following:
3840 2160 0

Thanks. I ended up getting the game as well on my Xbox One X with Games with Gold where it it has been enhanced to 4k resolution.
