How to reset game settings

If you need to reset your settings, and are unable to do it in the game, do the following.

1. Press the START button on your keyboard OR click on the START icon on the windows taskbar

2. Type (or copy and past) the following exactly as it is written:

%localappdata%\OutOfAmmo\Saved\SaveGames

That will automatically take you to the save file location. Delete all the files located here to reset your settings.

With the new update (1.0.9) this has changed, in the second step you want to paste the following:

%LocalAppData%\OutOfAmmo\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

And delete specifically Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini.

For advanced users:

Here are what some of the settings do in Game.ini

• FloorHeightOffset=0 - Can be set to any integer value between -30 and 50 to offset player height.
  
• FogEnabled=True - True or False to enable or disable fog.
  
• RightHanded=True - True or False to set handedness.
  
• MusicEnabled=1.0 - Can be set to any float value between 0.0 and 10.0 to set music volume (I don't recommend setting it much higher than 1.0 though).
  
• ShowTooltips=True - True or False to show or hide tooltips.
  
• vr.PixelDensity=1.0 - Set to any value greater than 0.0 but less than 2.0 to set pixel density. See this Unreal blog post[www.unrealengine.com] for more information.
  
• SpectatorScreenMode=View - Can be set to View, Enabled or Disabled to get the settings you see in game. It can also be set to any one of the supported modes[docs.unrealengine.com] (except for TexturePlusMirror and ViewPort) if you want to use those for some reason.

For GameUserSettings.ini you'll have to do a bit of googling to find out, there's a lot you can do!
