H scenes being skipped?

So after the update, I installed the updated adult patch as well. However, when I got to the part where the h scene would normally be, it's still being skipped. Was I supposed to toggle it on before playing? And will toggling it on work even if i'm in the middle of a playthough, and would it be possible to go back after toggling on to see the content?

I was having the same problem before, but it's solved when i restart the whole story. (New game)
(Also, i run through the first time of the story.)
So i guess you probably need to do the same thing as me.

This. The devs did say the saved games pre remastered patch would be redeemed unusable.
