Internal subtitles are only supported in VLC so the only way to get subtitles with directshow is to provide a srt with the file.
Regarding being able to change audio tracks in Directshow that should work although it does depend on quite a lot of factors. The one thing I can do is check to see if it works my end in case I've broken that some how.
If you could provide an example of a file that wasn't working in Directshow that would be useful. I will look into it though and make sure that the multi track options are currently working in case I've made a mistake my end.
Thanks for the feedback, hopefully we can find a work around.
Phil
Some time since i've not used Whirligig, but i remember clearly that this was working before.
I've managed to get back to fixing issues with Whirligig. @Picdelag So are you saying when using Directshow with an accompanying srt file that it is still not working? Only srt files with the same name as the media are supported with Media foundation and Directshow. For example "example.mp4 and "example.srt".
I'll check it and if I find the issue I'll let you know.
All the best

I'm not talking about subtitle but audio tracks! I don't use subtitle but i like to switch between english and french (My main language)
So i'm using BIG files encoded by myself from full ISO 3D.
I usually keep the original audio track as they are (not re-encoding them).
.MKV H.264 High 10? Something like this.
I don't either find where to switch audio track in FFDShow audio (The blue one on desktop, don't remember the name exactly...) or elsewhere, so i'm actually unable to find a way...
I remember clearly that this was working before just by clicking the "T" button at bottom right.
It's still working with VLC path, but no more on FFDShow... And i can't live without SVP Manager...
But maybe i did something wrong on my codec side or something? Or is it an issue on Whirligig ?
I've found an issue I'm working on now. Thanks for reporting this. Hopefully it's easy to fix.
I'll let you know when I've uploaded a beta to try.
Phil
So just to be clear/sure... This was a problem on Whirligig side? Not on my side?
I tried to reset all my codec settings, then, re-setup them, but it didn't help. So i think this is on Whirligig side...
Thanks to confirm...
Thanks for letting me know the issue and let me know if it fixes it.
All the best
Phil
Thanks for the fix!
