Native D3D9 DXVA Decoder (VLD) support for playback of HVC1 videos
Can this be added? It's what PotPlayer uses for the playback of HVC1 videos and it performs way better than DirectShow+Lav filters for high resolution videos like 7K+.

Whirligig doesn't decode the video on its own, it uses the AVPro library for Unity, the 3D engine it uses. I don't know if AVPro supports DXVA. If you can find out, then we can figure out if it's possible. However, looking around for a bit it didn't seem to be possible.

Well right I realize it's relying on libs. I think I may have been wrong about the resolution being the performance problem though. I think it actually has to do with the difference between playback of video that is 10-bit color vs 8-bit color. 10-bit color videos on LAV are very jerky for me even at 5K.
