I NEED HELP, GAME NOT WORKING!

i love the Drawn series, ever since I played painted tower I was hooked. I could not stop playing the game. I then found out that a sequel came out. I was so excited, It came on steam and I downloaded it waiting for more puzzles. It finished downloading, I opened it and was having fun. Later, the painting with the Easter Island Head. The first painting, so then you have to go back to the painting to do something. I enter the painting, I hear sounds, then the game just crashes. I keep trying everything. I deleted it and downloaded it again. Nothing helped, and no one else had the problem. I don't know if it's my computer, or if it's just on steam. Please Big Fish fix this because I really want to play the game instead of seeing Youtubers play it. If you know how to fix it please tell me!

I was having the same problem but i managed to find a fix that worked for me. I went into the local steam files for it and set the application "DrawnII" to run in 640 x 480 screen resolution.

I just tested what you said to do on Drawn. It still does not work! I don't know what to do because there's no youube tutorial of it and I went to the files and changed the screen resolution.

Windows 11 . Dawn 2 Dark flight loaded but as soon as I went to play I could hear music playing but the screen went black and stayed that way. This solution worked for me.
right click on desktop screen. Go to display settings. find display resolution and click on 1920 by 1080 and click enter. Dawn 2 now works for me. I have to switch back to my recommended resolution when I am done playing.
Hope this might help someone else.

whenever i try to open drawn 2 it opens as "sdl app" and instead of working it keeps glitching

There is a solution i think. Gamers have to accept the neverending appearance of Windows versions.
So what you can do is to assemble a PC from older parts, after Windows 10 ends, soon they will be eveywere on the market so you can take them for pennies.
Install a Win 7 on this older build, download the game from Steam to your main gamer PC, and move the files to the older PC, there is an option in Steam to backup the files.
