Have not checked the game yet
So don't know
Does it have a.i/bots to race against in single player like Mario Kart?
The game is mainly focused on online gameplay, besides, a working internet connection is needed to play the game even for the time attack mode.
There are two main game modes so far: Play Online which will throw you to race against players from all the world, but that in case there are no other players looking for a game in that same moment, will put AI bots instead of players.
Time Attack mode: The name says it all. Race against the clock in circuits trying to beat best distance records.
You need to be connected in both modes cause your progress is shared and every time you play some races it affects both your ranking and helps you progress and unlock new cars and circuits.
Your Division Shield category will also vary depending on your race results!
Hope that helps make thinks clear! :P
